London Design Festival, Victoria & Albert Museum of London
Designers Laetitia de Allegri and Matteo Fogale collaborated with Johnson Tiles - manufacturer of ceramic tiles and vitrified - to create "Mise-en-abyme", a colourful and immersive installation for the bridge over the Medieval and Renaissance galleries in the famous Victorian and Albert Museum. This was presented as a part of London Design Festival in 2015.
Here, the designers played with layering our Altuglas® acrylic glass sheets. They used transparent colors, fluorescent or even pastel shades, combined with our smoked panels which are normally used by the boating industry.
Walking through this tunnel was a completely mind-blowing experience. Colors and shapes combined to create a beautiful sensory symphony, brilliantly orchestrated by these two designers who brought out the best in our material.
